Hi, I’m Megie! I’m a pediatric speech therapist with over a decade of experience working in outpatient clinics, elementary schools, and hospitals. As a mother of two and a life-long learner, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping children thrive during their early years.
I founded Wholesome Tyke to provide families with the tools, education, and support they need to guide their child’s overall development. My focus is on providing holistic, individualized services that not only nurture a child’s communication and feeding skills, but also their overall well-being.
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my husband, two kids, golden retriever Sonney, and rescue cat Oreo. Our family enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and traveling!

It’s Easy to Get Started!
Wholesome Tyke travels to provide speech and feeding therapy wherever it works best for your family— in homes, daycares, and preschools throughout northwest Arkansas.
Step 1: Contact Us
Call, text, or email to set up a free phone consultation. You will speak directly with Megie Dickinson, owner of Wholesome Tyke, who will chat with you, answer any questions you may have, and decide the next step. At this time, we may also schedule an evaluation.
Step 2: Evaluation
Attend the scheduled evaluation, where your child will participate in a comprehensive evaluation which will allow me to get to know your child and his/her strengths and weaknesses. A therapy plan will be developed which will include recommendations and goals. Weekly therapy sessions can be scheduled at this time.
Step 3: Begin Therapy
Wholesome Tyke will plan each session with your child’s specific needs and interests in mind. Sessions will be one-on-one, engaging, and FUN! Your therapist will come to you and keep track of the progress your little tyke is making.
Insurance & Billing
At this time, Wholesome Tyke is a private pay only provider. Superbills are available by request, which you may submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
